Kiwi MethXpert is a franchise of Eco Decontamination Systems (“EDS”)

After playing professional cricket for 13 years, I became a qualified builder and recognized there was a gap in the market for a safe, effective meth decontamination system. Remediation was labour intensive and many houses had to be relined. I believed there had to be a more efficient solution. ​I could see similarities in the usage rates of meth in the US to New Zealand. My research took me to Utah, USA to gain more knowledge and understanding of the epidemic and how to decontaminate properties using a proven product and best practice cleaning methods. Apple Environmental Meth Remover was my chosen product after much research to bring to the New Zealand market. ​Hills Laboratories in NZ have tested and confirmed this product and our cleaning methodology complies to NZS8510:2017. ‘

oUR hISTORY

Eco Decontamination Systems (“EDS”) is a company with over 30 years of combined experience from within the drug detection and cleaning industry. We specialise in the decontamination of meth contaminated homes and training new contractors in our unique eco-friendly cleaning system throughout New Zealand.

Taking into consideration New Zealand’s eco-friendly values and vision, EDS choose to partner with Apple Environmental (USA). Apple Environmental produces one of the world’s leading meth decontamination products.

Hill Laboratories and E.S.R. have tested and confirmed Apple Environmental Meth Remover and our cleaning methodology comply with the NZ Standard for Testing and Decontamination of meth-contaminated Properties (NZS8510:2017).

Our Director, Shanan traveled to the USA and undertook significant product-specific training at the Apple Environmental facilities located in Utah. Whilst there Shanan undertook technical training on the effects of meth use, focusing on the ongoing issues that it creates within our homes and communities and the process to ensure the effective removal of this poison from homes.

The Eco Decontamination Systems team are highly qualified, friendly, professionals, who are dedicated to ensuring the stresses of meth decontamination are taken care of in the safest way possible.

Combining all of this expert knowledge Eco Decontamination Systems (EDS) was formed.
